this cow ran -- >> it got hit? >> yes! this cow ran all over town. it ended up denting that police car. >> the cow was unbelievable. weighed about 800 pounds. he's running back and forth up and down river street. he went across presidente boulevard. >> eventually they ended up being able to pin this cow between a fire hydrant and a truck. local animal control tranquilized the cow once they were able to kind of pin it between this truck and this fire hydrant and the slaughterhouse, the meat packing plant, they came back to get the cow -- but, because this was such a sneak ya cow and he was fighting so hard for his life, the original owner of this cow said, you know what? i'm not going to let this cow go back to the slaughterhouse and instead it will now live out its days at a sanctuary in upstate
